I have seen them in my area - Oklahoma for $200-$250 if thats the picture of it, I'd say go for it, its BEAUTIFUL! you don't come across them everyday.
Ooooh, wow! Unfortunetly I cant be of much help as I know nothing about them. Ive always wanted one but dont have the room. Good luck, hope someone here can stear ya in the right direction!!
This looks very similar to a spinning wheel I have and yours may even be a bit smaller. Mine didn't come with half as many parts as yours but I still payed $150 for it. I also bought it from a friend. Sorry I'm not much help here.

WOW!! Wish I could help you but I don't know! I would think you need a pedal piece that sits on the floor to make the wheel go around. I can't really see that on the picture!
That is something I want to learn to do too!
Good luck!
Hi BWP, It looks like there are pieces missing. I am going to email you a pic of mine.
I have one that I inherited from my mom. Not sure that her's is all there. the one I have is smaller, probably not more than 36". I have seen them about that same size for around $100. You might check ebay to see what they are going for in the same size range. Not much help I am afraid. I know antiques are probably cheaper out where you are than here in Wyoming too! Let us know if it becomes yours!
