My New Header AND A Question?

How do you all like my new header?
I was just playing around with a few new decor things that I had picked up at a flea mkt.and some new "prim" things that had arrived at our shop....
The flat basket is FOR SALE for $39.00 plus shipping and the greenery piece in the pitcher is FOR SALE too they are $7.95 each...they are really beautiful!!
I'll be posting those things and more wonderful greenery and *NEW* prim smalls on our Selling Blog soon very soon!

Now, For my question....How do you get your background to be something different than the solid blogger colors?
Can you scan some fabric or wallpaper and put it in behind your posts?
How do you do that???

Thanks alot!!!
Oh, thank you to the few that left ideas about the furniture....please, there's still time to get your ideas in....we'd appreciate the input!

Have a great week primmies!

Hi BWP,
If you go to my blog or some of the other blogs you'll notice a logo you can click on in the upper left corner. Mine says "Cutest Blog on the Block.com" They have so many pretty backgrounds to choose from and you use your own header pic which by the way is just gorgeous!!!! What a fantastic shot of your sweet kitty sleeping on your beautiful coverlet! Hope I've helped. Hugs

Me again. I just remembered that Kris from Simply Prim used some wallpaper she scanned in and it looks wonderful She's going to tell us how to do it in a future post. I see you have her blog in your list so stop by and check hers out and tell her I said hi!

We love your new header pic. As soon as I opened your blog my daughter said, "Oh, look at the kitty!" We have a tabby named Tiger who looks very similar to yours. Love your bedding too.

I really like your new header. I use http://hotbliggityblog.com/ and pick out the background I like, then copy the code and go to customize on my blog, click on add a gadget and then click on HTML/javaScript and add code. It will add back ground behind your header.
Hope I didn't confuse you...but it is really quite simple.

Love the new header! That pitcher reminds me so much of my Pfaltzgraff Folk Art pottery. Who made it, if you don't mind me asking. I love it!
About teh background, yes you can scan wallpaer, etc to use. I know how to do it, but I don't know how to tell you how! And because you can easily mess up a lot of stuff, I'm going to hope that someone else can help you out. The palces mentioned in some of the other commetns are nice and easy to use. If you want something "original" to you, it is a bit harder, Not really hard, but like I said, easy to mess up because you have to go into your HTML and put a link in your codes.
Jenn is great at this stuff, maybe she will post the directions or tell you if you contact her? I'm sure she will just love that I volunteered her! :0) LOL!

Love the header ... and Molly said it well. That's how I do my blog background too.

There are several great places to check for background codes .... Cutest Blog on the Block and Delightful Dots Blog Backgrounds to name a few.

Just search for "free blog backgrounds" and you will see plenty of them.

Good luck.
