Just Droppin' In And A Few Decorating Pics Too!

Hi Prim pals! Just droppin' in for a bit!
We have been soooo extremely busy!
Our cooking/concession season official began today!
Blessed with a beautiful sunny 83 degree day and many folks hungry for something fresh off the grill!

Earlier this week we had a sweet customer to come to our shop
and purchase her first prim piece of furniture! Wahoo!
It has the neatest looking prim finish!
Glad our customer really liked it!
She was so excited to be getting her first "prim" piece!
We are so grateful she came to us!

I've been trying to do a bit of Spring cleaning and re-arranging....I say...Trrrryyyiiinnggg! heh heh....
Did manage to clean and mop the tongue and grooved pine floor in our kitchen....whew!...let's just say it was loooooong overdue...also,vacuumed and shampooed the braided jute rug under our table and the other three in the kitchen...
Oh,they look so much better!
Tough,tough rugs!
I've had them for nearly 4-5 years now and they have held up so well!

Movin' on...brought in a red-checkered sofa and that in turn caused us to have to move the entire room around! LOL! Anyone else ever do that?
So,we moved the Lazy Boy recliner out.... :) Do you see me smiling???
But,I have to admit I felt kind of bad about it because it's DH's chair...he's not supposed to sit in recliner's because of what they do to his back...so I actually did him a favor...right? ;)
Anyhow back to the re-arranging...took a long black peg shelf down from over the mustard sectional and put the black screen-door cabinet(that Mr. Backwoods' made)in it's place....well sort of...I actually had the crazy idea to hit me...to put the shelf up under the wall cabinet as one piece!! It actually looks pretty doggone cool!!!
I don't have it fully decorated like I want it to look, but I'm gettin' there!
Just thought I'd post a few progress pics...oh, for those of you that have been wondering...nope, I have dropped the ball on the bedroom stenciling and have not finished it yet...I WILL however get it done soon!!! Yes! I will!!!

Just to jump in here between photos....the corner has bugged the absolute poo outa me for a loooong time...could not get that corner to look right to suit me!!
Then we had the idea to move the beloved pie safe in that corner! Then, Voila!
It all came together! I'm so thankful to have been blessed with that pie safe....
My uncle(my dad's identical twin)passed away in October and about a month later some things were being gone through, when my kind cousin gifted it to me! I am so incredibly thankful to him for what he did!

Still have several things I'm working on in here....but I can honestly say...
I am grateful for my home and I LOVE how my Living Room looks now!
I have often wondered why when we get together with our friends(that have bigger houses)nearly always end up getting together out our's???
Then,I had a couple of customers to tell me it's because it is very "warm","welcoming" and "inviting" in here....
That sure made me feel nice!
It's just "HOME" to us....and for that....we feel so blessed!
Hope you liked!

I just wanted you to know thst you are not alone when it comes to moving in piece of furniture and the next thing you know the whole room is totally different...my husband would be like "I"m not getting used to it because it will be different next week!" LOL! But I must agree your home does look very lived in...very cozy!! I LOVE IT! Glad to see too that you haven't given up on that bedroom!

I love your red checked sofa. It does seem that when we get a new piece of furniture that we end up rearranging the whole room. Everything looks wonderful!!
