Hey blog pals!
Thanks for all the encouragement about the new business venture.....
We haven't given up.......but it looks like for whatever reason the door may be closing on that particular concession trailer......don't really know why things happen that way....I have found that most the time it means something else better is out there....sure pray so.....
It's so hard to know how to read things sometimes.....???
I do know even though we had a very "soupy" rainy day Saturday......my DH, his mom and our two kids said they had a ton of fun doing the concessions!
They were all laughing and really enjoying what they were doing!!
What a blessing it was to see them all having a great time!
(Even though I was enjoying being with my prim booth..... I was partly wishing I was over there with the rest of the family too!!!)
That makes you wonder......how can it not be what you need to do when it keeps all generations of the family together and they're having such a good time at what they're doing and meeting new folks?
We've even considered maybe we should just have our own trailer built to suit our needs....instead of settling for what someone else had built.....then we have to wait for it to be built and that could take a few weeks.....I'd sure hate to miss out on setting up anywhere....but if you don't have a trailer....you can't set up at several of the places anyhow....hmmmmm....
What to do....what to do.....???
Take that "leap of faith" and just go for it?!!
I'd appreciate it so much if you "prayer warriors" would keep praying for us!!

Well, better get back to work.....getting the shop cleaned up and back in order.....DH & DD un-loaded the trailer and I'm working stuff back into the shop.....

Yep, I got the pig in S'field. It's probably the same one you picked up!
I'm going to have to plan a road trip to your shop. I keep saying that but so far, we haven't been able to get away!
The business is consisting of mostly local orders still, but that's OK by me! Not too much shipping going on.
My dd wants her own blog too but she's only 7. I'll try to remember to stop by your dd's.

Sorry about the business venture. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason and perhaps there are BIGGER and BRIGHTER pastures out there for you. I am sure of it... after looking at all of your stuff on picture trail... I am sure there are bigger fish to fry (so to speak). God has plans for you - hang in there!!

It sounds like the family had a great time do the concessions. I worked with my family for many years, 15 to be exact, in a family run dry cleaning business. Those were some of the most memorable times of my life. I pray things work out for you and you can move on with your new venture. God has a plan for you. It's been a tough couple of days....we all want to work and move forward with this new business soon....but we have to find a trailer to accomodate what we want to cook/grill....we weren't really wanting to have to wait for one to be built....
Maybe one will turn up soon...we've both been wearing "the net" out trying to locate something....

I've always said that when God closes a door, somewhere he opens a window. I will continue to pray for you making the right choice.
