I ran across these pics (what a lazy kitty) that I had taken a couple years ago and it just made me long to see the sun and to feel it's warmth again!!
Thought you might like them...... :)
It's been rainy for days and now is very overcast here.....the sun is trying it's very best to peek through these clouds!! I sure hope it does soon!!
I think there's alot of truth to being without sunlight and being down in the dumps.....
I'm not depressed per say....just feel sluggish and unmotivated here lately.... :(
Can anyone else relate?!!!
I try to get busy on something only to end up doing necessary tasks and not really anything creative!! Poo!
This morning I started decorating a new piece of furniture DH had made a couple weeks or so ago(so I could post new pics)....then I got to thinking about all the un-used tomatoes that I had bought for last Saturday's concession day......how they were just dead ripe and were going to ruin if I didn't do something with them....so I decided to get out my trusty food processor and blend them up for some homemade spaghetti sauce....I used all of them but four and stuck those in my kitchen window sill for maybe a BLT or Burger in the next day or so!
I poured the tomatoes in my new crock pot and added a pinch or so of garlic powder, some basil and oregano, chopped up some green onions and shook a lil' of this and a lil' of that in there and stirred it all up....so we'll see what we get! LOL!!
I plan on letting it simmer all day......so I'm hoping it's good.....
Some fresh cilantro might have been nice but I didn't have any.......
DD & I went to the grocery yesterday and I usually "scan" through the day old bread to see if there's anything worth getting.....found some 7 or 9 grain thin sliced bread that looked like it would make excellent buttered garlic toast to go along with tonight's spaghetti and a salad.....
We are closer to making a decision on our new business venture.....it's nervously exciting! If there is such a thing!
Please continue to keep us in your prayers....this is a big decision for our family.....
DH is going to do some talking with the bank on the best way to handle things should we decide to purchase a trailer a loooong way from home....
It's alot to think about.....
Hope each of you are having a great day/week.....I can't believe it's already Thursday!
I think I have only three posts to go til' my 100th post and the give-away!!!
Trying to come up with some really great items!

Oh my can I relate, it has been so rainy and stormy here since last Sat. We have been without power 4 of the last 5 days, only from 2 hrs till up to 12. But still enough to mess things up. I stay kind of depressed all the time, My prayer is for a little sunshine and so far today we have it, thank you Lord.
Can't wait to see your new project.
Molly
Thanks for sharing the "summer" pics. Loved the kitty! We got some much needed rain yesterday afternoon and into the night so I didn't have to water my seeds/flowers this morning..YEA! It is cooler today and clouds/sun mix.
We are going to the bank today to ask about refinancing so I have been praying about that too. It will all work out for the best for both of us. :)
I say recyling photo's a grand idea! I am sure not all of us have seen them after all.
When I read your post title, I started to sing the Seals and Croft song from 1974 - Summer breeze makes me feel fine.. DH and I were still dating that summer!
I bet the sauce came out delicious. I always make mine that way! YUMMO!
Wishing you a wonderful Mother's Day!
hugs, Linda
Sherry - Oh yes, those pictures really make me yearn for that warmer weather to hurry up and get here. I can't complain about the rain because we needed some. Although days and days of rain is plenty (lol). I am a sunshine gal and need that sunshine : )
Looks like you have some sweet potato vine in one of your pots. I planted some of that this year. I just love it and well I love all of your decorations too!
Summer will be here before you know it. Hang in there!
Hugs,
Lisa
I love the pictures and also I feel so much better when I have my sunshine. I guess that is one reason I hate winters so much, when it's gloomy outside I am just in a gloomy mood and don't feel like doing anything. The sun just energizes me.
Great pictures thanks for sharing. I hope your new business goes well.

Love your summer pics ~ love those beeskeps. I keep looking for one. Your spaghetti sauce sounds yummy. I'll keep your family in my prayers. Happy Mother's Day.
