I've been asked a few questions about my room painting project and re-do...
It's so much easier to post the answers in one place....so here I go!
By the way, I welcome your comments and your questions!
All the comments are very encouraging to me while I'm getting all this done!
Let me see now....
I had a question about the paint covering over the red walls....
So far...so good....it is taking two coats....then touching up here and there...
I could have probably primed them....but that is still going over everything twice....
Another question was about the coverlet....I chose a beautiful brown and linen combination...in the Sea Star and Jewels pattern....I think it may just be here tomorrow!!
O.k. now for the paint colors....the walls are a Wally world color.....it is from an older Colorplace sample(I think)....the color name is "Spinnaker".....it closely resembles melted vanilla ice cream.
I chose another brand of paint to have it mixed in an eggshell finish and it really does look good....this is the same color that I used in our kitchen,LR & DR....
The trim color I used in those other rooms is also a Wally world color....it was from those same type of small block samples on a long card....it is called "Sycamore Grove".....
But....I was nearly out of what I had on hand in that color....so I used a custom mixed color that I already had here......it is nearly the same color....just slightly darker....but not by much....
I can't remember right off if there were other questions or not....?
Stay tuned for more pics in the days to come!
Thanks!

Morning,
About the colors in the stencil you asked about - I think the red would be great but it would commit you to red in the room as accents. I think those are great too - since I happen to use it a lot. The question is do you want to commit to it. If not, I would take the paint samples and colors of the coverelt to the paint store and just find another neutral tone that would blend in with them. That way the basics in the room would be neutral (putty, black, wood, browns) and you could change accent colors anytime.
Thank you so much for answering the paint color. I am too re-doing my bedroom, and the color I have right now well....something went wrong and girl it's a HOT mess! Meaning it's going to take a miricale to fix. YIKES...Can't wait to see the total package!!!
