Could I Ask A Favor??

Hi Blog Friends!
It's been an extremely busy week ......especially the last couple of days.....
We had a "Springtime In The Backwoods" Open House at our shop on Friday and Saturday...
It was really chilly and damp Friday but we did quite well and even better on the beautiful sunny Saturday the Lord blessed us with! All-in-all it was a great Open House and we were very pleased and grateful for those that came to shop and visit with us!
It was also my DH's 43rd birthday Saturday....we gave him a little surprise party with a Mexican theme....DD helped me decorate with a colorful striped table cover, matching plates and napkins that had Fiesta! printed on them....we had a banner with maracas on it that we put up in the doorway from the kitchen to the LR....for his B-day card from all of us (family & friends) we taped a Pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey game to the door with the tail taped on that had the #4 for the day his b-day falls on....... then everyone signed the "card" for him.....
One of our neighbors came dressed in full costume looking like "Juan Valdez" with a can of coffee in one arm..too funny!......DH loves his morning coffee..... :)
He makes the comment often.....like the commercial used to say....if he can't get his morning coffee, he might as well go back to bed!! LOL! Do y'all remember that one?
Then..... here came the food! We had wonderful Mexican food of all sorts!
Fixings for Nachos, white cheese dip, salsa and tortilla chips, enchiladas (2 kinds) and a seven
layer Mexican dip.....then DH's mom fixed homemade fried apple pies....OOh! yummy! yummy! and a Milky Way cake....so scrumptious!
We all had a really nice evening celebrating my very special guy's birthday with him!
Before I close this post....I'd like to please ask a favor....the first is prayer for a dear friend and customer....she has found that cancer has come back in two places in her body....she quietly stepped into my lil shop's office and told me and asked if I would please pray for her....I said of course I would and that I would also put her name on the prayer list at church.....she's such a dear lady....
Then......I shared with her as I will now with you.....that I have been scheduled to have a scope done on April 20th to see why I have difficulties with swallowing and alot of acid reflux issues....
I do not look forward to this scope whatsoever.....I've had one before....year's ago and don't remember a thing and it was not painful or anything like that....I just do not want to have to go do that.....I've been praying...along with others that I've asked to....that the Nexium that I was put on a little over a week ago would really help with those issues......
I had a rough day with it today....but I am keeping my faith and trust in the Lord that He's going to heal me and take care of this!
I believe that nothing is too big for my God!
I praise Him daily for all He does for me and my family!
I'd like to ask that those of you that would pray in agreement with me in faith that the Lord is going to heal whatever is wrong and that He is going to take care of this for me....Hallelujah!
It says in His Word in Matthew 18:19& 20........
"Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
Amen!
**********************************************************************************
Thank you all so very much.... from the very bottom of my heart!
It's such a blessing getting acquainted with some of the most wonderful Christian ladies I ever met through blogging!
I can just sense your love for the Lord and it shows in the things you say in your posts!

Oh, before forget....I have our Spring Open House pictures ready to get on here and or Picture Trail site so stay tuned and they will soon be on....I also haven't forgotten about the LR/DR re-do pictures as well....
Just been super busy and I do apologize for not getting them on sooner!

Take Care,
Backwoodsprim

I had a scope recently; and while the results were not what I wanted to hear, I had family and friends praying for me. My prescription was for $175, but the Lord blessed me with healing before payday and the purchase. Will be praying for you; keep strong, and please keep us posted. Blessings to you.

BWP my husband had a scope a few years ago because he was having problems most of his adult life with reflux. I know it's hard but try to follow the gurd diet as much as possible and elevate your bed at he headboard at least 6 inches or buy a foam wedge to sleep on. God is in the healing business and He is faithful to His own. We will be sending up prayers for you for complete healing. And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction." Mark 5:34

Good morning, I am so glad your sales are going good. And happy Birthday to your sweet DH. Can't wait to see pictures of all your items.
I have had to have several scopes and I understand your worries, my first scope was very bad, not the test but the results, I had 4 large burnt areas that were close to being cancer, he put me on 3Prolecex (msp)aday, my GP couldn't believe he would give me that much, but he had to be aggessive, we prayed constantly for God's grace, I followed my diet and took my meds, when I had my last scope 6 mos. later the tissue was beautiful pink, and no more burnt spots. God is good. So just keep faith, we will pray for you and your friend. I know all will be well.
Keep us infromed. Prayers Heaven bound now.

Saying prayers for you and your friend. There is NOTHING that the Lord cannot accomplish!
Sounds like it was quite a nice b'day for your hubby. And who doesn't like Mexican food? It's my favorite too!
I'm so glad the open house went well, especially considering the rain. I'm sure the next one will be even better.
Have a great week and please keep us posted.

I'll be saying a prayer for you. I was having issues with both swallowing and terrible acid reflux. My doctor started me on Protonix two weeks ago and both the trouble swallowing and the acid reflux are much better.
