Oh, What A Beautiful Day!

Hi Blog pals!
It's been an absolutely gorgeous day here today!
Early this morning about 13 of our ladies from church (me too) went to a huge flea market about an hour South from us and then stopped at a few yard sales and a GW store on the way back.....
I actually didn't buy much for myself at all....found two old muffin tins for a dollar each....
I bought DD 2 new tank tops with the wider straps(not spaghetti) and a pretty turquoise rug for her room...that was it!
Then, on the way home we stopped at a catfish restaurant for lunch....
I love catfish but I ordered the chicken finger plate instead.....it was delicious.... but a bit pricey by the time my drink was added then the tax and gratuity........
I spent more on my lunch than I did for what I bought....but it's seldom that I get out and do that so it was a treat!
Anyhow....we had a great time of fellowship and the weather has been wonderful!
Actually....... almost HOT!
Just to think we were commenting on how chilly it was a week or so ago...... :)
Sure isn't that way today!

I have finished something new for the house that DH made and I can't wait to show you all!
I have to get some things put away and decorated before I can show you pics!
I'm teasing aren't I?!!! LOL!
Hopefully in the next day or two I can show you what it is!
So......please stay tuned!

Have a lovely evening and a pleasant remainder of the weekend!

How great that you were able to go on the trip and enjoy the fellowship of you Church Friends. I was so sad to have to cancell my trip to Branson with my fellow Chuck friends, but the crud just wouldn't clear up.
Can't wait to see your finished item and pictures.

Good morning BWP,
How much fun it is to go shopping with the church ladies! We go with our church to Lancaster and all the ladies go to a huge flea market in Ephrata called the Green Dragon. It's so much more fun than dragging my poor hubby from booth to booth knowing he would give his right arm to go home and watch tv! Thank you for visiting my garden and leaving such a sweet comment. Have a great week and enjoy this warm weather! Hugs, Loretta
